I’m cofounder of Upright Media, where we use AI to automatically edit video ads. Many advertisers are only just beginning to discover the possibilities of online video (even though annual spend is already north of $10 billion), and there’s tons of room to automate the work involved.
I spent many years in Silicon Valley, have been through a $700 million acquisition at Google, and have been involved in web development just shy of twenty years. I still travel to San Francisco regularly and am happy to advise local startups on how to get started there. (The short answer is, just go and meet people.)
My other interest, mostly when beers at the pub are involved, is urban planning, and I might yet lapse into rants about train lines around Perth 🌆😉
