Focused on supporting and encouraging the WA startup community, the accelerator program will challenge its seven startups to launch and build their businesses over 12 weeks at Spacecubed.

From a pool of 74 applicants, 13 were invited to pitch to an investment committee including WA-based Venture Capitalist Matt Macfarlane, Brett Looney from Amazon Web Services and Vocus Upstart Founder and Director, Rob Nathan.

“Whilst the number of applications were similar to last year, the strength and depth of the applications this year was much greater… The Perth startup ecosystem is growing and evolving which is great to see,” Director of Vocus Upstart, Rob Nathan explained.
