Plus Eight is a startup accelerator based in Perth, Western Australia. The Plus Eight accelerator is a partnership between Spacecubed and Telstra's accelerator, muru-D, bringing a global network of mentors, investors and partners to support high growth startups. The program includes $400,000 seed funding split between the teams, plus 6 months dedicated space at Spacecubed and FLUX, mentoring, masterclasses, and a trade trip to the US.
Startup Weekend is run as a fast-paced, non-competitive hackathon aimed at teaching people the foundations of building a startup business. Over 100 people from all backgrounds and experiences form teams on the Friday night. Over the weekend, teams are taught Lean startup principles to develop, test, validate and prototype an innovative business model. On Sunday night, all teams pitch back their progress and ideas to a panel of community judges.

The Department of Communities approached Spacecubed to host an ‘IdeaHack Challenge’ event that facilitated new ways of thinking though the Department of Communities and other government agencies, the community, key academia and private industry to tackle some of these challenges.The focus was community participation, attendees working together in teams, using government data to analyse and collaboratively develop proof of concept solutions to issues and challenges in creating vibrant, liveable, sustainable communities for the future.

The program includes $40,000 seed funding for up to 8 startups, a 13 week intensive accelerator based at Spacecubed and a money-can't-buy network of mentors.
HBF Activate is a startup accelerator launched by WA's largest health fund, HBF in collaboration with Spacecubed. The program focused on supporting the next wave of digital disruption in the health sector. The program begun with free masterclasses, a health focussed hackathon, and a 10 week accelerator offering $30,000 to 3 startups.
